Robert Bruggeman has over 20 years of experience in corporate development, equity research, and institutional sales & trading. He has a deep understanding of Canadian equity markets and the mining sector, having worked as a sell-side research analyst, desk analyst on the proprietary trading desk at TD Securities, and head of the sales and trading desk at a boutique brokerage firm in Toronto. Mr. Bruggeman is also Chairman of the Board of AbraSilver Resource Corp., a TSX-Venture listed company focused on silver and gold exploration in Argentina. Mr. Bruggeman is a CFA charter holder.
Jacqueline AllisonCFA, PhD, P.Geo, FCIM

Jacqueline Allison brings more than 20 years of Canadian and international experience at major institutions in the fields of mineral economics, financial analysis, investment management and investor relations. Previously, she was VP Investor Relations and Strategic Analysis for Augusta Group of Companies, with similar senior executive capacities at Dominion Diamond Corp. and Hudbay Minerals Inc. Prior to that, she served as a VP and Research Analyst at various banking institutions, including BMO Harris Investment Management Inc. Ms. Allison is the past Chair of the Management and Economics Society of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), and a Corporate Director for both McMillan Research in London, UK, as well as Ride HOVR Corporation in Toronto. Ms. Allison holds a PhD in Mineral Economics from McGill University, a Professional Geoscientist (Ontario) designation, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Neil Burns is a geologist with over 25 years of extensive international experience in exploration, mining and resource evaluation. He is currently the Vice President of Technical Services at Wheaton Precious Metals where he is responsible for the technical review of potential precious metals stream financing opportunities. He has been with Wheaton since 2008 and prior to Wheaton, Mr. Burns held numerous positions with mining and consulting firms. Neil holds a master’s degree in mineral exploration from Queen’s University and is a registered Professional Geologist with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia. Mr. Burns also serves on the board of directors of the BC Cancer Foundation and Au Gold Corp.

James Clare is a partner with Bennett Jones LLP, one of Canada’s leading corporate law firms. Mr. Clare has a corporate commercial and securities law practice, with an emphasis on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on the mining sector. His transactional experience includes domestic and cross-border public and private corporate finance transactions representing issuers and underwriters as well as merger and acquisitions transactions. Mr. Clare also serves on the board of directors of SolGold plc, PJX Resources Inc., and Riverside Resources Inc.

Sam Leung is a mining professional with 15 years of international mining sector experience in due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, as well as strategic evaluation of projects and operations. Since its IPO in 2017, Sam has been Vice President of Corporate Development for Adventus Mining Corporation (ADZN-TSXV). Sam is also non-executive director of AbraSilver Resource Corp. (ABRA-TSXV). Prior to Adventus, Sam was Director of Corporate Development at Lundin Mining Corporation, where he was a member of a small team that executed several successful transactions valued at over US$ 3.7 billion. Sam was also responsible for joint-venture related activities with Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in Africa and Europe as well as strategic assignments at Lundin Mining’s operations in Europe and the Americas. Prior to Lundin Mining, Sam served a global range of mining sector, financial, and governmental clients as a due diligence and strategy consultant for Hatch Ltd.’s advisory practice based in London and Toronto. Sam began his career as a metallurgist and is a licensed professional engineer (Canada). Sam has a B.A.Sc. degree in Engineering Chemistry from Queen’s University at Kingston, Canada, with first class honours.
Matthieu Lapointe P.Geo

Matthieu Lapointe has over 15 years of greenfield and brownfield precious metal exploration throughout Canada and internationally. Most recently Mr. Lapointe was VP Exploration at Labrador Gold Corp., where he led the team that discovered the Big Vein on the Kingsway property in Newfoundland. Mr. Lapointe’s previous experience includes being Chief Geologist at TMAC Resources (“TMAC”), Senior Project Geologist at IAMGOLD, and Geologist at Sabina Gold & Silver. At TMAC, Mr. Lapointe developed exploration strategy and managed regional exploration of the 1,600 km2 Hope Bay Project in Nunavut, including brownfield targeting at the active Doris gold mine and two advanced stage gold deposits.

Mr. Hurley, as one of the founding partners of McGovern, Hurley, Cunningham LLP, Toronto in 1980, worked on the initial TSE public offerings of such resource companies as Pangea Goldfields Inc. (acquired by Barrick Gold Corporation), Aurelian Resources Inc. (acquired by Kinross Gold Corporation), Detour Gold Corporation, Fronteer Gold Inc., and Labrador Iron Mines Holdings Limited to name a few. Jack graduated from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute (now Ryerson University) in Business Administration with a major in finance and accounting. Jack obtained his US CPA from the University of Illinois and his Canadian CA from the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants while articling with Price Waterhouse & Co. in Toronto. Jack retired from public practice in 2010.

Dr. Laurie Curtis brings over 40 years of experience in the mining industry and capital markets, with a proven track record in corporate development, mine development and project financing. He was the founder of Intrepid Minerals and was a key member of the senior management and technical teams overseeing all aspects from discovery through operations. Under his guidance as CEO and COO, Intrepid transitioned through merger and acquisition to become a gold producer and developer, ultimately attaining a market capitalization in excess of $1.2 billion. During his distinguished career as an exploration geologist, Dr. Curtis was involved with a number of worldwide discoveries including the initial discovery and staking of the Back River gold belt, which now hosts the 5M-ounce gold deposit held by Sabina Gold & Silver Corp., and led teams to the discovery of several epithermal systems in the Caribbean Basin. Dr. Curtis has also held several positions in the financial sector including, Research and Analyst Mining for Clarus Securities, Vice President and Senior Analyst Global Resources for Dundee Capital Markets. Dr. Curtis is based in Toronto, Canada, has been a director of multiple mining companies and is currently a director of Excellon Resources.

Dr. David Palmer has over 25 years of management, technical and exploration experience in the Canadian and international mining industry. Dr. Palmer was the President and CEO of Probe Mines (2003-2015) where he led his team to two successful major mineral discoveries, including the multi-million ounce Borden Gold deposit, and the sale of the company to Goldcorp Inc. in 2015. As recognition of his team’s accomplishments at Probe Mines, he was the recipient of numerous awards including the PDAC’s Bill Dennis Prospector of the Year (2015) and Northern Miner’s Mining Person of the Year (2014). Dr. Palmer holds a B.Sc. (Geology) degree from St. Francis Xavier University, M.Sc. and Ph.D. (Economic Geology) degrees from McGill University, and is a member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario.

Dr. Lawrence Winter is based in Newfoundland and has been the Vice President of Exploration for Altius Minerals since 2006 and is responsible for Altius’ project generation efforts globally. He has worked extensively in mineral exploration across Canada and internationally. Lawrence is a graduate of Memorial University (BSc Hons, MSc) and the University of British Columbia (PhD, a registered Professional Geoscientist (PEGNL) and a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists.
